Hi, I’m Kasia Mrugała

I’m a documentary photographer, a wife and a mother of two sweet girls. They are my biggest inspiration! I’m fascinated by the relationships and interactions we have with each other, which is why I’ve always preferred taking natural, honest images.
I started my career as a graphic designer, but after a few years I really fell in love with photography and I graduated from Sopot school of photography. Except the wedding photography i also work on my documentary photography projects.

I’m so honored to have received the Grand Press Photo Portfolio Award 2017.
I am a proud member of WPJA – The Wedding Photojournalist Association.

my approach

I’m a documentary wedding photographer and I focus on capturing life as it happens rather than staging moments for the sake of a picture. Truth is the most precious thing we have. Documentary wedding photography ensures a genuine narrative to your wedding photographs.

It’s very important to me to don’t interfere with the couples joy of their wedding. I ‘im to be completely unobtrusive and yet captured all the moments. I won’t direct you, or any of your guests, or ask you to repeat anything, but I will be close, keep my eyes and ears open, ready for an unexpected show of affection or funny little moments. Your memories from your day should be made with your family and friends and that is why I like to limit the time I take you away for pictures of just the two of you to 15 – 20 minutes.
